Troubleshooting Internet Browser Issues

Sometimes people experience trouble accessing the login page for Ignited Teaching.  

Here are a few things to check.  Try one at a time and see if this restores your access. 

1) First check that your device and operating system is up to date and running the latest version of the software.  

2) Clear your history and your cache

3) Try from an incognito tab or from a different browser Chrome or FireFox

4) Turn off your firewall or security setting and see if this fixes the problem.  Add www.ignitedteaching.ca and www.madlylearning.com to your allowed list (this will be named differently based on your security settings) Turn your security setting back on. 

5) Make sure you are not blocked when using a device not owned by you.  Some school boards have very strict security settings. You will need to contact your IT department about this issue.  

6) Try a different device or different wifi. 

7) Reset your router by turning it off/unplugging it waiting 1 min and turning it back on.

8) Assess your proxy settings (details are in the link below) - This sounds techy but it just flicking a light switch in your browser settings. ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

9) Flush Your DNS cache - (details and instructions are below) ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

If you have tried all 9 steps and your access still has not been restored.  Please send us a screenshot/ or screen recording of the errors you are having.  We will work with you and our hosting services to help you.
