Refund Policy
Refunds, cancellations, and membership terms
This policy is subject to change at any time without notice.
Scope
This policy applies to all Madly Learning and Ignited Teaching digital products, memberships, and related services purchased through our website and associated platforms.
Memberships
You may cancel your membership at any time from your account page. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not trigger a refund for the current billing period.
Access to the membership library is established immediately upon purchase.
The enrolment fee for memberships is non-refundable under all circumstances.
Digital products and store purchases
Our refund approach aligns with Teachers Pay Teachers and other digital marketplaces. For digital products, once access has been granted, the product is considered delivered and is yours. There is no practical way to return a digital product once access has been provided, regardless of download status.
Purchases made in the Madly Learning store (non-membership items) are refundable only when no download has been made, and the request is submitted within 7 days of purchase.
When you may be eligible for a refund
Duplicate purchase of the same item or duplicate billing for the same membership, requested within 30 days of purchase.
Administration fee
All approved refunds are subject to a minimum administration fee of 10% to cover non-refundable payment processing costs.
Requests that are not eligible for a refund
Change of teaching assignment
Leave of absence requiring time away from teaching (you may pause your membership for 6 or 12 months)
Purchased the wrong grade level or your class demographics fall outside the range indicated for the purchased package
Administrative, district, or provincial directives change (including mandated curriculum or standards changes) that limit your ability to use the resource
Any other personal teaching circumstances
Guidance before you buy
If you are unsure whether you will be able to use the resource or anticipate a change in assignment, please wait to purchase until your role is confirmed.
Fraud and abuse
Fraudulent access refers to members who join, download a year’s worth of materials, and then cancel their membership immediately after purchase. This is considered theft.
Any fraudulent payment activity, chargeback without cause, or fraudulent access will result in permanent suspension of your Madly Learning and Ignited Teaching accounts and loss of access to all related content. We reserve the right to pursue additional remedies as permitted by law.
How to request a refund (where eligible)
Provide your order number, purchase email, and the item or membership name
Describe the issue and confirm that your request meets the timelines above
For store items, confirm that no download has occurred
