Ignited Teaching Membership - FAQ

We have just changed how you access your Ignited Teaching programs, including Ignited Literacy, Ignited Math and Ignited Lessons Club Science and Social Studies. 

To help you understand this change, we wanted to answer some frequently asked questions. 

đź§­ Understanding the Membership

What is the Ignited Membership?
The Ignited Membership is a flexible way to access high-quality, curriculum-aligned resources for Grades 3–6. You can choose from two membership levels: the Core Membership, which gives you full access to one program (Math or Literacy), or the All-Access Membership, which unlocks all programs, all grade levels, and all future updates.

What’s included in the All-Access Membership?
The All-Access Membership includes every resource in Ignited Math, Ignited Literacy, and the Ignited Lessons Club—spanning Grades 3–6. You’ll also get access to all new lessons, updates, and content as they are released. The total value of this content is over $3,400.

What’s the difference between the A La Carte, Core, and All-Access options?
A La Carte: One-time purchase of a single grade level. No updates or access to other grades.
Core Membership: Ongoing access to one complete program (Math or Literacy) with updates.
All-Access Membership: Full access to all grade levels, both subjects, and all future content.

📚 Content, Grades & Differentiation

What grade levels are included in the membership?
Both the Core and All-Access Memberships include resources for Grades 3, 4, 5, and 6. With the All-Access Membership, you can move between grades as needed, making it ideal for split-grade classrooms or teachers who change assignments.

Can I access more than one grade level at a time?
Yes—if you are an All-Access Member, you have full access to all grades and programs. If you’re on the Core Membership, you’ll have access to all grades within your selected subject (either Math or Literacy).

Can I use the materials for split grades or differentiation?
Absolutely. One of the biggest advantages of membership is that it gives you the flexibility to pull from multiple grades to differentiate instruction, support students working at different levels, or easily manage split-grade classrooms.

Is the content aligned to the Canadian curriculum?
Yes, all Ignited programs are designed with Canadian classrooms in mind. They align all provincial curriculums while also supporting learning goals across other provinces.

Are the lessons updated regularly?
Yes. Membership includes updates and additions. As curriculum expectations evolve or resources are improved, you’ll always have access to the latest versions through your program library.

🔄 Upgrades & Access

I already purchased Ignited Math or Literacy. Do I need to join the membership?
No. If you’ve made a previous A La Carte purchase, you can still access what you bought. You are not required to join the membership; nothing is being taken away.  If you currently have access to our program library due to a previous purchase, you will retain access to this in the future.  

Can I upgrade to a membership later?
Yes. You can upgrade at any time to either the Core or All-Access Membership. The membership may be the right fit if you’re looking for flexibility, access to multiple grades, or future updates.  However, discounts off the membership will not be provided for a la carte purchases. 

Will I lose access to my original purchase if I don’t join?
Not at all. A La Carte purchases are yours to keep. However, these purchases do not include future updates or access to additional content unless you choose to upgrade.

Why don’t you offer discounts on second-grade-level purchases anymore?
Each grade in our Ignited programs now contains unique, non-duplicated content. This means you’re getting new lessons and resources at every level. Instead of offering multi-grade discounts, we’ve created the All-Access Membership, which gives you unlimited access to all grades and programs at a better value.

What happens if the curriculum changes in the future?
If the curriculum is updated and we release a new version (such as Ignited Math 2.0 or Literacy 3.0), members will receive those updates. A La Carte customers would need to purchase the new versions separately.

Is there an enrolment fee?
An enrolment fee may apply when joining a membership, but this fee is currently waived for existing members during our transition to the new model.

👩🏫 Teaching With Ignited

How do I access the lessons and materials?
All materials are accessed through your online program library for members of our Core and All Access memberships. Once logged in, you can browse by subject, grade, or topic, and download what you need directly. A La Carte members will access their downloadable programs from the store where this was purchased (ML Store or TPT) 

Can I download the files?
Yes. All members and Ă  la Carte purchasers can download PDF files to save, print, and use in their classroom planning. A La Carte users do not get access to our program library. 

Are the lessons editable?
Most of our resources are in PDF format for consistency and ease of use. While they are not fully editable, they’re designed to be classroom-ready with minimal prep. Editable planning templates and supports may be included where relevant.

Are the lessons organized for easy planning?
Yes. Our programs are structured into week-by-week lessons, with consistent formatting, teacher instructions, and printable student pages. Everything is designed to make your planning faster, smoother, and more efficient.

Are there tools to help me get started?
Yes. New members receive onboarding support, planning guides, and walkthroughs to help you set up your year and integrate Ignited into your classroom routine.

đź’ł Billing & Account Support

How do I update my billing information?
You can update your payment method or billing details by logging into your program library account and visiting the billing section in your membership portal.

How do I cancel my membership?
You can cancel at any time through your program library account dashboard. 

Will I lose access to materials if I cancel?
Yes. Membership content is accessible only while your membership is active. Once cancelled, access to the program library and any future updates will end. 

Is there a refund policy?
Due to the digital nature of our resources, we do not offer refunds once a membership payment has been processed. If you’d like to try the program before committing to All-Access, we recommend starting with the Core Membership.

Can I pause my membership?
We don’t currently offer a pause option, but you can cancel and rejoin anytime. Please note that enrolment fees may apply if you rejoin later.

Do you offer school licenses or bulk pricing?
Yes! We offer custom school licensing packages. If you're interested in purchasing for multiple teachers, please reach out through our support form for a quote.

What’s the difference between a membership and buying Ignited products on TPT or in your store?

When you purchase on TPT or in our store, you're buying a single grade-level product—a one-time purchase that gives you access to a fixed version of that resource. It does not include future updates, additional grade levels, or newly released content.

With a membership, you get continuous access to an evolving library of lessons across multiple grades (Grades 3–6), regular updates, and all new content as it's released.
The Core Membership gives you one full subject (Math or Literacy), while the All-Access Membership unlocks everything across all subjects and grades.

If you prefer to buy just what you need for a specific grade, A La Carte is a great option. But if you want more flexibility, support for split grades, or automatic access to future updates, membership offers far greater value.
